ESP (Emergency Standby Power) is the maximum power available for variable load in the event of a utility failure, typically used for up to 200 hours per year with an average load factor of 70%. PRP (Prime Rated Power) is the maximum power available continuously while supplying variable load for an unlimited number of hours per year. PRP output is generally lower than ESP for the same genset model.

The New Domestic models (e.g., 12V4000G23RF) are locally manufactured engine variants that meet the same performance specifications, offering a cost-effective option. The Imported MTU models (e.g., 12V4000G14RF) are original MTU-branded engines imported directly, often preferred for applications requiring original MTU certification, parts traceability, and global service network support.

The canopy type dimensions for the Series 4000 gensets (TX1500–TX3300) are not listed in the standard specification table, as these high-power units are typically supplied in open-type configuration or housed in custom-engineered containerized enclosures. The TX710–TX1375 series (MTU Series 2000 engines) is ideal for medium to large commercial and industrial applications requiring 520 kW to 1,076 kW of prime power. The TX1500–TX3300 series (MTU Series 4000 engines) is designed for large-scale industrial, data center, and infrastructure projects requiring 1,092 kW up to 2,640 kW of prime power. The fuel consumption figures listed (in liters per hour, L/h) represent consumption at 100% ESP load under standard test conditions. For example, the TX710 consumes approximately 156 L/h at full ESP load, while the TX3300 consumes up to 659 L/h. Actual fuel consumption in operation will vary based on load factor, ambient temperature, altitude, and fuel quality. For sizing fuel storage and supply systems, it is recommended to calculate based on your expected average load factor.
