ESP (Emergency Standby Power) refers to the maximum power output a generator can deliver for a limited number of hours per year under variable load conditions, typically used as a backup during utility outages. PRP (Prime Rated Power) is the power a generator can supply continuously for an unlimited number of hours per year at variable load, making it suitable for primary power applications. For most standby installations, ESP ratings apply, while PRP ratings are used where the generator serves as the main power source.

The TP Series covers a wide power range from 10 KVA (TP10) up to 2,500 KVA (TP2500) in ESP rating, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications — from small commercial facilities and residential backup to large industrial plants, data centers, and infrastructure projects.

Open Type generators have no enclosure, making them more compact and cost-effective, but they require installation in a sheltered machine room or dedicated generator room to protect the unit from weather and reduce noise exposure. Canopy Type generators come with a weather-protective acoustic enclosure, making them suitable for outdoor installation. The canopy significantly reduces operating noise levels and protects the unit from rain, dust, and UV exposure.

To select the correct model, first calculate your total connected load in KW or KVA, then add a safety margin of 20–25% to account for motor starting surges and future load growth. Determine whether you need standby (ESP) or prime (PRP) power. Then match your required KVA output to the appropriate model in the table. Consider also the physical dimensions (Open or Canopy type) to ensure the unit fits your installation site.
